  • Governor General David Hurley has paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II at the national memorial service at Parliament House.
Mr Hurley said the late Queen was a “constant and reassuring presence” in many people’s lives.
“A page had turned, a remarkable chapter complete, the book, though, continuing,” Mr Hurley said.
“Throughout her reign, she constantly demonstrated tireless and selfless service, devotion to duty, and a compassion for others.”

That's the problem: the queen shouldn't be present in anyone's life if there is a democracy and everyone is supposed to be equal.
