The fact that neither Wolf, nor her editors, nor her publishers, nor her agents caught this error just goes to show how desperately the whole establishment wants to believe in the myth of western malevolence, and how invested it is in propping up victim culture and identitarianism.

@KalicoM Then do cite explicitly the proof that the earth is so much older. When carbon dating is proving completely unreliable, and there are fossilized miners' caps, do discuss some of the more common (and mostly dismissed over time) theories? Mt. St. Helens' lost in one cataclismic event the same amount of height that would have taken many thousands of years of erosion. How arrogant to "assume" there were no other catastrophic events in the last 6000 years.... The mile wide trench cut into the soil that is over a mile wide would have been attributed to how many thousands/millions of years? Tell me; how do you segregate or determine a section of water - in one larger body of water - is over a million years old? :) Read the book of Job. Who can speak to the frost or tell the sun when to shine. There are over 93 miles of capillaries in the human body. What makes a heart beat 100,000 times a day? What is the process that causes that? You say you have the evidence it all is "older"; what is it? To think all this was done "by accident" over even billions of years is so disturbed it's frightening. Put a small puzzle in a box and shake it up a million times. It will always be a mess. Fools rush in..............

"Death recorded" is something I learned about from watching British mysteries on TV, other than the year that it began. That, I did have to do some research but it took me all of 2 minutes while I was watching an episode of Death in Paradise or something. Beginning in 1823, the term "death recorded" was used when a judge wanted to issue a death sentence as legally required but his intention was to pardon or commute the sentence. If I was an activist or I was compiling some sort of research, I would have been intrigued by the term "death recorded" and the number of times that it's being used. That would have been cause for research on its own.

Andrew Fishman You can find the longer version of the interview. In it they mention he was arrested for sodomising a child. I agree he too is a child but back then at 14 one was viewed as young man not a child. You've heard stories how they would work as young as 11 and by 14 some were already on ships far from home. Not all of course but child labour was a normal thing and not exploitation as we view it now. He was treated like adult but did get a lighter sentence based on age

In nineteenth-century British law many crimes were punishable by death, but from 1823, the term "death recorded" was used in cases where the judge wished to record a sentence of death - as legally required - while at the same time indicating his intention to pardon the convict or commute the sentence.

The interviewer himself acknowledged that he was surprised by the term's actual meaning. That suggests that the author made an innocent enough mistake. It's apparent from the way that she responded to the interviewer, that she's not interested in hiding anything, but actually values the truth.
This is hardly an indictment of feminism, which by the way, gets misrepresented all the time. The majority of anti-feminist videos consist of showing footage of a woman behaving badly, and then slapping the "Feminism" label on it, with the insinuation that it's common for feminists to behave that way.

It's kind of amazing how bent out of shape butthurt and brainwashed otherwise somewhat reasonable people can get about him based on what seems to be nothing but pure prejudice because he said something which when looked at from a very specific angle looked wrong at one of their sacred cows.
